Wanderlust, curiosity, purpose, and love led me to Cerrillos, New Mexico from New York in 1970. New York taught me many timeless lessons in creativity that I brought with me to New Mexico. The scenes, space, light, and color were, and are, so magically magnified here that they all consume and spellbind me.

The immediate feeling I get from the New Mexico landscape is one of absolute abstraction. The land compliments the sky and vice versa in extremely breathtaking and otherworldly ways. The subtlety of the many layers of colors and shapes in, and on, the landscape has a mesmerizing effect on me.

Painting allows me to interpret the landscape in a most detailed and precise way. Monoprinting allows me to work with a more immediate, loose, and freer outcome. These creative processes have brought me to a place of knowing and learning what points of view capture my heart.

My focus is to continue being aware of what moves me in the landscape and to relay those feelings to those who are viewing my work in a most loving and captivating way.
